Exquisites China Restaurant Chau in Kiel

We had the duck for two to pick up and crunch up at home. Tasted great and was super crispy with plenty of side dishes and very friendly instructions to take home. Gladly again.

This is such a fun restaurant. It's pretty expensive except for lunch during the week, where you can get the buffet for 15 Euro or so. Worth it.

The best china restaurant we have ever eaten in! Just great! Fresh. Delicious. Unique. Open the bag, hot water on it? Certainly not here. When we are passing through again and make a stopover in Kiel, we treat ourselves to a fantastic meal at Chau "an der Schanze" ...

My husband and I find the inn suitable for all events irrelevant whether with friends, acquaintances or relatives. The correctness of the staff is really impressive. I think the selection is broad and so far most of what I have received in front of me has tasted great My husband and I are positively surprised. We'll all reappear for sure.

I have been a regular guest with my family in the Chau Restaurant for more than 5 years. We have always been served well there. The staff is very friendly and courteous throughout. We would not be regulars for such a long period of time if it hadn't tasted too. However, we were there for the last time as a guest. Unfortunately. My daughter chose buffet (because of Corona only at the table. 5 rounds of 4 parts can be selected) So far everything is good. I chose a la cart. During the second round my daughter suddenly ended. She has a feeling of fullness and does not want to eat anymore. Unusual with her. Usually 2 more rounds fit into it. Now the present boss orders that we should pay an extra charge of 5 € because more was ordered than eaten. This regulation is also available in writing. I am aware of the problem of buffet offers. However, we are well known in this restaurant, and we also explained again that this feeling of satiety occurred unexpectedly and is usually consumed more. The boss insists on this additional amount of € 5. This behavior shocked me. Compared to the friendly service (not the boss, I haven't seen him anymore), I said that I will unfortunately no longer visit this restaurant. I would like to thank the staff for the years of friendly service and I wish them all the best.

Food very good, it would have been nice if the waitress had pointed out the lunch menu and not just presented us with the normal menu. Therefore four instead of five stars

Unfortunately only average. The concept here is actually buffet, but that's not possible at the moment. Now offers an order buffet or a la carte. We ate much better Chinese there. Location is very noisy as there is a lot of car traffic in front of the door. Even in the evening because of the beach. Too bad.

Great restaurant! I ate Buffett and your dishes were delicious. Great attention was paid to cleanliness. The quality of the dishes offered was very good. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to get a delicious buffet and for a good price.
